Celebrate a World of Flavors- National Nutrition Month 2022“National Nutrition Month® is an annual campaign created by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. During the month of March, everyone is invited to learn about making informed food choices and developing healthful eating and physical activity habits.”

Each March, we celebrate the occasion with a different theme. This year’s theme is “Celebrate a World of Flavors.” We have unique bodies, backgrounds, cultures, and tastes! This month, we encourage you to celebrate these differences and appreciate our diversity by celebrating flavors that represent your own culture and those of others.
This month, challenge yourself to eat a variety of nutritious foods. What is one way you could incorporate a new fruit or vegetable – or incorporate a familiar fruit or vegetable in a new way? Plan your meals and snacks. Planning ahead can save you time and stress! Make sure you incorporate foods from all 5 food groups while you’re planning.
