We'll discuss the importance of pollinators, the plants that support them, and then visit our Demonstration Garden where you'll participate, along with Master Gardener volunteers, in the Great Southeast Pollinator Census!
Along with the workshop, the Census will give you real-time opportunity to observe and round out your knowledge of pollinators, as well as generate useful data about pollinator populations that scientists can use to spot trends and develop conservation strategies.
As a BONUS and included in your registration, you'll go home with 5 pollinator plants for your garden. You'll also have the opportunity to purchase additional plants (such as a variety of Coreopsis, Salvia, Blackeyed Susan and more).

Saturday August 23rd 1pm - 3pm
Where: NC Cooperative Extension Office, 25 Referendum Drive, Building N Training Room.
A wealth of related resource material will also available to attendees.
The fee for the program supports the Brunswick County Botanical Demonstration Garden and other Cooperative Extension Consumer Horticulture outreach activities within Brunswick County.
