Timeless Fitness, offered by the Brunswick County Cooperative Extension, is a program designed to demonstrate exercises that improve flexibility, endurance, strength, and more.

The accompanying videos are organized into three categories:

  • warm-up exercises
  • lower body exercises
  • upper body exercises

It is recommended to engage in 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic activity each week—about 30 minutes five days a week. You don’t have to do it all at once, for example you can break this up into three 10-minute sessions throughout the day.

While these exercises are excellent, activities like walking, playing sports, or dancing are also beneficial; the key is to keep moving and have fun. Achieving this goal can lead to numerous benefits, including a reduced risk of chronic disease, improved brain health, and a lower risk of falls.
