Brunswick County 4-H partners with various organizations within the county to offer hands-on learning experiences. In 4-H you "learn by doing” and meet new friends that share your interests. You can participate in projects where you make something, develop a skill, raise and/or train an animal, or even travel for an international program! There are numerous projects available to you, including foods, clothing, public speaking, models, STEM, citizenship, livestock, and more.
2026 Summer Camps
Ready to make this summer unforgettable? We have 5 amazing day camps planned for this June. From exploring the "secret life" of the forest to pedal-powering your own smoothies, we have something for every young adventurer. 4-H Summer Fun Day Camps provide safe environments for youth to make new friends, practice independence, develop social skills, and learn new things.
Worms, Woods, & Wild Things
June 7 or 8 / 10am-3pm / Town Creek Park / $25 per camper
Campers (ages 5-12) If your child loves exploring the outdoors, digging in the dirt, and discovering the "secret life" of the forest, this is the camp for them. We’re spending the week diving deep into our local ecosystems to see exactly how everything in nature is connected.
STEM Camp
June 16 or 17 / 9am-3pm / Town Creek Park / $25 per camper
Campers (ages 5-12) will practice science, technology, engineering, and math skills during numerous stations led by 4-H staff, community volunteers, and 4-H teen leaders.
Move & Munch
June 23 or 24 / 9am-3pm / Town Creek Park / $25 per camper
Campers (ages 5-12) This camp is all about fueling our bodies, finding our groove, and learning that healthy living is a total blast. We’re taking "fast food" to a whole new level—if you want a smoothie, you’ve got to use your pedal power to blend it!
Rooted & Rising
June 30 or July 1 / 10am-3pm / Town Creek Park / $25 per camper
Campers (ages 5-12) This isn't your average garden camp. We’re bridging the gap between traditional stewardship and the high-tech future of agriculture. Whether your camper is interested in the science of hydroponics or the grit of production farming, they’ll leave with a deeper connection to the place we call home.
PowerUp! w/STEM
July 7 or 8 / 10am-3pm / Town Creek Park / $25 per camper
Campers (ages 5-12) This is the camp where youth will explore the basics of electricity through hands-on activities and learning fun skills!
