This fall, we are partnering with the Henderson County Public Library system to offer various wellness and health related classes. These classes are free and open to the public, however, registration is required and can be done on their website. Check out more information on the classes below:

EATING THE MEDITERRANEAN WAY

Eating like those who live in the Mediterranean region has been shown to promote health and decrease the risk of many chronic diseases, including certain types of cancers, Alzheimer’s disease, type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, and cardiovascular disease. These classes will explore how to incorporate the Mediterranean way of eating into our everyday life.
Together we will look at some simple, delicious, and satisfying recipes and make a recipe together that we can taste.
Registration is required for each class. Sign up online or call the Edneyville Library for assistance.

Beginner Chair Exercises

ED- Beginner Chair Exercises

BEGINNER CHAIR EXERCISES

These classes are an introduction to chair exercise for individuals who want to incorporate simple and effective strength training exercises into their daily routine. We will do a series of basic exercises that can all be done with only one piece of equipment- a chair!

Registration is required for each class.

This is intended to be a low-moderate intensity exercise.
Please consult with your medical professional before attending. Class members will be required to sign a waiver before participating.
