Incubator Farms Round-table discussion on January 17th from 12:30 – 2 p.m.
We’ll be joined by representatives from three NC incubator farms to talk about what they are, how they work, how they can be started, lessons learned with them, and ways that new farmers can use them in their land access journeys. This webinar is great for anyone who represents a land-holding institution, Cooperative Extension, and new/aspiring farmers experiencing land access challenges.

Lunch & Learn: Alphabet Soup – Navigating Government Farm Programs on January 25th at 12:00 p.m.
This session is hosted by our partners at the Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy. USDA, Extension, FSA, NRCS, Rural Development – at times, the acronyms and jargon associated with farming programs can seem overwhelming. Stephen Bishop, NC FarmLink Western Director, will provide a brief overview of the most common government farm assistance programs, as well as tips and advice on applying for assistance and where to get started.
