Five outstanding 4-H members represented Brunswick County 4-H in the state Project Record Book Competition. Record books were selected based on the evidence of new skills and knowledge and the quality of the book itself. Alexis Apple’s project record books were submitted in the Personal Development and Leadership and the Science, Technology, and Computers categories. Angelique Apple’s project record books for Citizenship and Civic Education and Science, Technology, and Computers were submitted as well. For the Animal Science category, Brunswick County 4-H submitted project record books from Lena Devlin and Breanna Long. Katlyn Toney’s Consumer and Family Science record book was submitted for the state event as well.

Brunswick County 4-H congratulates the following members on their placings in the state competition:
* Alexis Apple for Bronze in Personal Development and Leadership,
* Angelique Apple for Gold in Citizenship and Civic Education and Bronze in Science, Technology, and Computers, and
* Katlyn Toney for Silver in Consumer and Family Sciences.

We look forward to reviewing this year’s Project Record Books and sending many on to the state competition again. We hope that every 4-H member will submit a book this year!
